Comments: This is the only tree surviving from the 1751 Walke Manor home that had a vista or alley of 10 Eastern Red Cedars leading up to the house from the Ferry Landing of the Lynnhaven River. From 1735 until 1751, a building at Ferry Plantation served as the third Princess Anne County Courthouse. That building was later used as the out kitchen for the manor home.
