Now that you have gotten your feet wet, we'll introduce a few species that are similar to some of the trees you learned in module 1. There is another pine, oak and maple, so be sure to check the differences between each. In addition, mockernut hickory has a large compound leaf, similar to white ash, but it is not an opposite branching species. Feel free to discuss some of the similarities and differences with your mentor group, and remember to have fun!!
