Comments: Owner believes this to be the best elm tree in the state. Though circumference at 4.5 ft. is ~ 120 inches, it is certainly a beautiful specimen. The property has been farmed since the late 1700's, and was once owned by Ann Mason, mother of George Mason. The property was occupied by Union Troops in 1862, as chronicled by Regis deTrobiand's memoirs.
