Comments: This is the largest black birch I have seen by far. It is double-trunked, forks about 48-50" above the ground with similar diameter trunks, and BOTH trunks are larger than any single trunk I have seen in this species. (Editors note: this is the 2013 state champion with circumference of 144", 78 ft. tall, 47 ft. crown diameter, 234 total points.)
