Comments: The circumferance of this tree at breast height is at least twice my reach around it and I would guess it is a good 300 yrs old. It would be good for someone to measure and officially nominate the tree. At the very least it is probably the largest tulip-poplar in Prince Edward county. Located on the nature trail across from the Goodwin Lake office. (Note: if anyone measures this tree, please report to the Virginia Big Tree Database.)
