Comments: The Harris Family white oak is unique to our family history for many generations. This remarkable tree served as the perfect spot for family picnics and gatherings in the 1920's, the reception area for countless family weddings held on the lawn in the 1940's, and the Friendship Garden Tea sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church beginning in 1977. It continues to be a great spot to reflect on the past, enjoy the present, and dream of the future. The tree measures 13 feet in diameter and 40.5 feet for the drip line.
