Comments: This bald cypress is located in the swamp at Upper Brandon across from Milton and is known as the "Lone Cypress." It's nearest neighbor is some 500 yards away. Only its center section is alive but its branches seem to be made of stone and do not fall away. It has a distinctive shape like a japanese bonsai tree.
