Comments: Located at Westover Plantation, mansion built by William Byrd II. The tree is in excellent condition and was stated as having been planted by General George Washington when visiting the William Byrd Plantation. This tree was recognized as the state champion between 2004 and 2006, when it was replaced by a tree in Fauquier County.
