Comments: These two trees grow near James Blair dormitory on the William and Mary campus and an are part of a collection of species on the campus that exemplify Dr. J. T. Baldwin's belief that "a collection of planta at an academic institution should be comparable ot that of a collection of books in the library. They are that important."
Best time to photograph: any time but winter; best time would be when nearby Virginia magnolia is in bloom (May?)
