Comments: This is a large pin oak growing at Fort Hunt Park near the George Washington Memorial Parkway. Nearby is a smaller pin oak that was planted to honor the royal visit of England's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth when then visited the model CCC camp at Fort Hunt Park, June 1939.
