Comments: This large willow oak is located in an island of the Belle Haven parking lot along the George Washington Memorial Parkway. The oak was retained and integrated into the parkway planting plan in the 1930s and was very visible from the earliest aerials of the park. The GWMP tree crew refers to this tree as Methusala.
