Common Name: willow oak
Scientific Name: Quercus phellos
Category: Old tree
Comments: According to tree specialists, this tree is very old and in good condition. They were shocked to see a willow oak this BIG!!! They think it is between 100-135 yrs old. This tree is the reason my Mom and Dad bought our piece of property to build their dream house and Mom wanted to build a tree house in this tree for herself but she died before that happened. It is an AMAZING tree!! It is approx 80ft tall with a spread at crown of 93ft. It is very sentimental!!!!
