Comments: This tree is called the marker oak because of an oral history that refers to it as an original survey marker tree. It is the second largest white oak in Fairfax County, and has been recognized as a Jamestown quadricentennial tree. The tree receives loving care by its present owners. It is estimated to be ~ 300 years old.
