Comments: This white oak tree on the grounds of the "White House" in southern Bedford County, Virginia, near Smith Mountain Lake, has been leaning dramatically ever since the Johnson family purchased the property in 1984. It was estimated to be approximately one hundred years old and is a continual source of wonder to the Johnsons and to the surrounding community, as well.
