Comments: This large Siberian elm sits near the corner of the historical Locust Grove House in Purcellville, VA. The tree is estimated to be 175 years old. The property has been in the process of restoration including the lovely and botanically rich gardens surrounding the property. A rare half penny coin from the civil war era, found during restoration, was donated to Loudoun County in fall of 2005.
