Comments: This beautiful and large tree was planted in the 1800's by cartographer and horticulturist, Yardley Taylor. The tree has an aura all its own. You can hear the tree as it gently moves on a light breeze. Well worth a detour south out of Lincoln to catch a glimpse of this magnificent tree. Also planted in its shadow is a large Gingko biloba.
Best time to photograph: summer, afternoon
