Comments: This very big and old tree's age is unknown but estimated to be 200 to 300 years old. The tree is located at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Greenwood, Virginia. The church was built in 1860 and five generations of Woodson's attended this church and many children have climbed and played on the huge limbs of the tree. The measurements are: Trunk circumference is 18.4 feet, Bottom limb circumference is 6.4 feet, Bottom limb length (about 5 feet off the ground) is 70 feet, and the diameter of the crown is 135 feet.
