Comments: This tree grows on the William and Mary campus, near where Virginia Indians fed ripe mulberries to the Jamestown settlers. Age of the tree is not known.
Dendrology Notes: As a non-native species, white mulberry was probably not the species given to settlers. The most likely candidate would be red mulberry.
