Comments: This Yellow Tulip Poplar is magnificent; its' 21 foot circumference, 100 foot height and 120 foot crown spread makes it a sight to see. It is located on private land in Culpeper County in the Mountain Run Lake area. When one comes upon it after hiking through a red cedar forest it is just awesome. It could be bigger; this is just an eye estimate. This tree is the eighth largest on record for Virginia in 2006.
