Common Name: white oak
Scientific Name: Quercus alba
Category: Historic tree
Comments: This white oak grows near a spring on the Booker T. Washington National Monument, and was likely present when Booker T. Waqshington was living at the site. American Forests sells historic oak seedlings from the BTW National Monument, although the seedlings actually come from a younger tree growing nearby.
