Comments: Very large old oak, sister to tree for which the locality of Oakton was named. That tree was lost in about 1975. This tree has been carefully preserved and stands just beside Hunter Mill Road which has been curved around it. Tree is about 100 feet tall and about six feet is diameter near its base. Tree is located beside Hunter Mill Road just north of VA RTE 123 in Oakton, VA.
