Common Name: white oak
Scientific Name: Quercus alba
Category: Beautiful tree
Comments: My tree fits in so many categories. It is a huge, beautifully shaped and very old white oak. In 2004 I bought the home my great-grandparents lived in, which had been out of the family for many years. This tree was in the yard when they owned the house and my dad played under it as a kid; it's at least 200 years old, and I'm told is the largest, oldest Oak in Campbell County. It is wonderful- you have to see it to believe it!
Best time to photograph: Any time, it's beautiful in every season
