Comments: This is an Arlington County "street tree" and is located in a residential neighborhood, within 100 ft. of Interstate 66. The tree is growing between the sidewalk and street. Tree appears to be in good health, and has previously been cabled to prevent the two trunks from splitting. No known historical significance, but it is certainly a very old tree. (Note: the tree is the current champion (largest) post oak in Virginia)
