Comments: This large water oak with its neighbor, a willow oak, shade the benches next to the Historic Fountain located in Monroe Park, Richmond's oldest City Park (purchased in 1851). For generations, the tree has remained in an urban setting, smack in the middle of the VCU Monroe Park Campus.
