Homemade Paper

Materials needed: Toilet paper, cookie cutter, wire screen, hand mixer, large bowl or tub, cup, rolling pin, glitter, confetti, etc., plastic bag, large index cards.

 


1. Place a handful of ripped pieces of toilet
paper into a bowl filled with warm water.

 

2. Use hand mixer to stir the pieces
until your pulp mixture breaks apart

3. Add any desired glitter or confetti
to the pulp mixture

 

4. Place a cookie cutter onto the wire screen and
fill with pulp mixture (approximately ¼ inch thick)

 

5. Gently press down on pulp to form
a float layer inside the cookie cutter

 

6. Carefully remove cookie cutter and place
plastic bag on top of the pulp on the screen

 

7. Gently roll the excess water out
of the pulp using the rolling pin

 

8. Carefully remove the pulp from the plastic
and place between 2 index cards to dry overnight

 

9. Now you can use your homemade paper!!
