  • Description: There are only two of these on campus, and they are planted together. Pagoda tree, or Japanese scholar tree, is a native of China and Korea. It is an unusual ornamental that is planted for its wide-spreading form, attractive flowers, and green twigs. It makes a very attractive bonsai.
